DEVG MC

This is the player-facing guide for installing the DEVG MC modpack and joining the server.

DEVG MC is a Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge modpack. The modlist is managed with packwiz, so your client stays in sync with the server automatically once it is set up.

Server address

forge.devgru-mc.org

The server uses an SRV record, so you do not need to type a port. (If your client cannot connect by name, use forge.devgru-mc.org:25567.)

The server is open. There is no whitelist and no approval step: install the pack and connect. New to DEVG? See Joining DEVG.

How to install

  • CurseForge app. DEVG MC is distributed as a CurseForge modpack, which is the standard way to install it. The CurseForge app cannot live-sync the pack, so when the server updates you need to update the pack in the app before you can reconnect.
  • Prism Launcher. Free and open source, and it re-syncs the modpack for you on every launch, so you are never out of date when the server updates. See Setup: Prism Launcher.
