The Vagabond bot
The Vagabond is a Discord bot that logs into the Million Lords shop for you once a day and claims every free daily gift, for every account you register. You set it up once and it runs on its own.
Once an admin has given you access (see Access below), you drive everything from three slash commands. All of them reply only to you, so nothing you do is visible in the channel.
Commands
Section titled “Commands”/vbregister
Section titled “/vbregister”Register a Million Lords login code (PID) with the bot. The bot logs into the
shop to confirm the code is valid before saving it, and reads back your in-game
name. You can register more than one account and switch which one is the active
(“front”) account from /vbsettings.
/vbsettings
Section titled “/vbsettings”Open your settings panel. From here you manage your registered accounts, switch
your active account, and turn DM notifications on or off. Daily recap DMs (a
list of what was claimed for you) are off by default; opt in here if you want
them. If you have not registered an account yet, this command points you to
/vbregister first.
/vbusers
Section titled “/vbusers”Admin only. Shows a paginated list of all registered users, their login codes, and in-game names. This command is hidden from non-admins in Discord.
How it runs
Section titled “How it runs”After you register, you do not need to do anything daily. Once a day, after the shop resets, the bot logs into each of your registered accounts and claims all available free gifts. If you have opted in to DM notifications, it sends you a recap of what it claimed.
The daily claim does not happen all at once the moment the shop resets. After the reset the bot works through every registered account spread out over several hours, so different accounts are claimed at different times. If you check your account right after the reset, the bot may not have reached it yet and you may see nothing claimed for it. That is expected; it will get to your account during that day’s run.
The bot claims for every account you have registered, no matter which one is set as your active (“front”) account. “Front” only affects which account is treated as your active one; it does not decide which accounts get claimed. All of your registered accounts are claimed every day.
Is it working?
Section titled “Is it working?”Most “my account isn’t getting gifts” reports turn out to be one of the following, all of which are normal.
No DM is normal. Daily recap DMs are off by default, so if you have not
opted in you will see no message even when the bot is claiming for you. If you
want confirmation each day, turn recaps on in /vbsettings.
“Already claimed” is not an error. If the day’s free gift was already taken when the bot logs in, most often because you claimed it yourself on the Million Lords web shop before the bot’s run, the bot reports it as already claimed. You still got the gift; nothing failed.
The bot claims the free daily shop gift only. Any other reward the game offers is not something the bot handles.
If a gift is genuinely missing from your account, not just “I got no confirmation”, ask an admin. Admins can check the run log for your accounts to confirm exactly what was claimed.
Access
Section titled “Access”By default only server administrators (and the bot owner) can use the Vagabond. Admins grant access by Discord role:
- An admin runs
/vbsettings. - They open Access Control.
- They use Add Access Roles to pick which roles may use the bot.
Anyone holding an allowed role can then use /vbregister and /vbsettings.
Access is re-checked automatically on every daily run.
